Transform a simple colored tissue paper into these beautiful flowers through this amazing tutorial by Being Artistic on Youtube. Materials:

  • colored tissue paper
  • craft wire
  • colored bond paper or printed paper

Instructions:

Step 1:

Cut the colored tissue paper into 4 pieces of 3.94″ x 12.6″ rectangle. Place them on top of each other. Fold in a zigzag pattern or accordian fold.

Step 2:

Tie the middle with a craft wire, then separate each of the layers by pulling them towards the center. It will look like a flower. Repeat the process and make 3 more of this.

Step 3:

Get two of the flowers and tie them together by twisting the wires as close as possible. Take another one and tie it on one of the sides.  Place the last one on the other side. Open up each of the layers of the tissue paper to make it look fuller. Next, trim off the tissue paper to form it into a nice rounded flower.

Step 4:

Cut a 1.18″ x 4.72″ green-colored paper and fold it in half. Cut a nice big curve to create a leaf.

Step 5:

Cut a 2.75″ x 11.81″ green-colored paper. Start rolling from the corner and glue the ends to make the stem. Attach the flower to the stem and glue the leaf. You are done! Make it in different colors that you want.
