I lost all of my Christmas decorations in a move, and so many were homemade so I need to really get to work on making some new ones. I was scouring the internet to find some easy homemade ornament ideas to get started on this monumental task. I recently found this fabric mosaic ornament video tutorial by Tricia TxLady Flores, on YouTube, and I knew these Christmas ornaments had to be added to my new collection.
Materials For The Fabric Mosaic Ornament Project:
- Pieces of fabric (tissue, or paper)
- Tacky glue (or Mod Podge)
- A flat head paintbrush
- A pair of scissors
- Some plastic ornaments (you can find some blanks at Michael’s craft store)
Directions:
In this fabric mosaic ornament video tutorial by Tricia TxLady Flores, on YouTube, you will learn how to make these awesome ornaments in a few easy steps. You begin by painting on the Mod Podge and sticking your little fabric scraps onto that.
Then, you will run a coat of Mod Podge all over the outside of your fabric pieces, then let dry. It is really that easy!
