I collect birds, they are so adorable and they really add a lot of cheer to my home. I love finding birds for my collection at garage sales and thrift shops, but I also love to make DIY birds. I recently found this DIY miniature bird video tutorial by Hobby Market, on YouTube, and I really wanted to make some of these lovely birds to add to my collection. The method of making these DIY birds is really easy because you just make a mold using foil, then cover it with thin to medium weight napkins that are soaked in glue.

Materials For DIY Miniature Birds:

• Aluminum foil
• Bendable wire
• Napkins
• Elmer’s glue (or Mod Podge)
• Craft paint (in the colors of your choice)
• Paintbrushes

Directions:

In this DIY miniature bird video tutorial by Hobby Market, on YouTube, you will learn to make these darling little birds in a few easy steps. You begin by making an aluminum foil sculpture of a basic bird shape. Then you will cover it in napkins painted with decoupage glue.  

Then, you will make the bird’s wire legs, and paint your adorable bird in the color of your choice. 

This bird idea is so cute, I really love how they turned to. I highly recommend this project, especially for a bird lover.
