I am in the process of redecorating my bedroom in the cozy farmhouse style and I have been searching for a perfect wall sconce idea to place on either side of my bed. Materials For DIY Dollar Tree Wall Sconces:

• 8 paint (21 inch) stirring sticks (from Walmart or free from Home Depot or Lowes)
• 2 fruit baskets (from Dollar Tree)
• 2 light plug mechanisms (from Ikea, Lowes or Home Depot)
• 2 sink plungers (from Lowes or Home Depot)
• Minwax stain
• A few rags (for stain)
• Black chalk spray paint (from Michael’s craft store)
• A hot glue gun
• Glue sticks
• 2 wall brackets

Then, just glue your paint sticks together using your trusty hot glue gun.  

These wall sconces turned out so cute and they were super easy to make. The light from these wall sconces is excellent for reading as well.
