Wagon wheels can make the cutest rustic home decor, but you don’t have to go out and find a real antique wagon wheel to have one in your home. I recently found this fabulous DIY wagon wheel wreath by Momma From Scratch, on YouTube, and I was so thrilled to be able to make my own wagon wheel. All the materials for this project are available at Dollar Tree, and really inexpensive. Dollar Tree is quickly becoming a DIY hotspot and has so much to offer the budget-minded crafter.

Materials For DIY Wagon Wheel Wreath:

  • 1 hula hoop (from Dollar Tree)
  • A packet of doweling rods or long shish kabob skewers (from Dollar Tree)
  • A can of black Rustoleum spray paint
  • Some poster board
  • A round woodblock
  • A pencil
  • A pair of scissors
  • A hot glue gun
  • Glue sticks

In this fabulous DIY wagon wheel wreath by Momma From Scratch, on YouTube, you will learn to make this cheerful wreath, in a few easy steps. You start by making a round centerpiece for your wagon wheel and attaching your wooden sticks to is using your trusty hot glue gun.

Then, you will spray paint your wagon wheel and add the faux flowers of your choice using floral wire, adding a little hot glue to keep everything in place.
