One of the very first online quilters that I ever started watching was My Sewing Room. in fact, it was under their instruction that I made one of my very first quilting projects. I was so delighted when I ran across this excellent one-day scrappy quilt video tutorial by My Sewing Room, on YouTube, because I love making her scrappy projects The greatest thing about My Sewing Room’s videos is the fact that at the end of each block tutorial, she shows you many ways the patterns can fit together, yet look completely different. That may not seem like a big deal, but believe me, they can look so different! Most online quilters do their block patterns and then give you just one representation of how the blocks will fit together. In the case of this awesome one day quilt, the entire quilt is just one gigantic square. You start with a small scrappy square and just keep adding on your fabric strips to the outside, and that makes your quilt grow larger and larger as you go.
