Although washing machines are meant to clean, they can get very dirty as well. It is always good to give your front-loading washing machine a deep clean to get rid of grease, grime, food debris, or anything that might have been clinging to articles of clothing. My washing machine ad this exact problem, and I really did not know what to do, until I found this awesome washing machine cleaning video tutorial by Dirt Farmer Jay, on YouTube, that explained how easy it really is to clean a washing machine. There are only a couple of easy steps to follow that will get any old grungy washing machine sparkling clean and odor-free!
The first thing you can do to start a deep clean on your front-loading washing machine is to place 2 cups of vinegar into the soap holder portion, then run the machine for a full hot cycle. The vinegar will work its way throughout the plumbing and inside the tub and clean everything out.
Then, you will make sure and wipe all the areas dry after every load. Water can start to create a stench, so especially get all of the areas in and around the rubber gasket.
