Thanks to Smart Fox for this amazing home hack.

What You Need:

  • baking soda
  • sieve (or a shaker)

Directions:

Step 1

To start, remove your bedsheet completely, then grab a sieve and add a generous amount of baking soda. Use this to sprinkle the baking soda all over the mattress evenly, making sure it’s completely covered. (You can also put the baking soda inside a shaker and use this instead of a sieve.) You can also brush or wipe the baking soda to make sure it’s being well absorbed.

Step 2

Now, leave it for five hours. Once done, vacuum the baking soda completely. By doing this, you’ll be able to remove bad smells and moisture from your mattress. Repeat this process every six to eight weeks.
