Cleaning a range hood filter may seem very daunting at first, but it really isn’t that difficult if you use the proper tools and methods. When I found this awesome video tutorial by Clean My Space, on YouTube, I was so excited to learn about these 3 ways to clean your dirty and greasy range hood filter. These methods effectively loosen the grease at the deepest level of the metal mesh, so removal is really easy.
Materials For Cleaning A Greasy Range Hood Filter:
- Oxy Clean
- A Bucket
- Hot Water
- A Bristle Brush
- News Paper
- Baking Tray
- A Steam Cleaner

You can also, line a baking tray with newspaper and bake the greasy filter for an hour, then wash.
