Most of have a stock pile of buttons from other projects, so gather them up for this fabulous DIY project! I just love the bright colored buttons they’ve used in this great piece of art, and it’s so darned simple to make! I might also mention that I saw one of these on Etsy for $68! Hmmm…another avenue for income?

If you don’t have a lot of buttons, you can buy bags of these really cheap at the craft stores. You can also make this same thing with vintage buttons to give them a totally different look. Vintage buttons look especially good if you have Shabby Chic decor.

I’m especially fond of hearts, so I had to make this right away. These make easy and cheap gifts that your friends are sure to love!

When browsing Pinterest I saw many ideas for doing this same project. I saw a really cute rooster that would look darling in a kitchen! Another cute project made out of buttons was a ladybug…and the list goes on and on.

My daughter bought the most beautiful large pastel button picture of a dancing girl, for my granddaughter’s room, and it has a sweet saying embroidered around it in pastel embroidering floss. It’s my very favorite of all her great artwork in her home!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
