I live in the Texas Hill Country, where I have lots of deer running around all day and night, so when I found this awesome 5-gallon bucket deer feeder by Cooters Garage, on YouTube, I had to try this easy idea. I have to admit, whether you make the deer feeder or not, you have to see the adorable Cooter describe his ingenious and creative deer feeder idea. Cooter says you get a bucket, get some rope, tie the rope around a tree branch, wrap it around another branch, then attach a shiny can to the bottom. When the deer come up and nudge the can, they get some deer corn, it’s so easy!

  • A 5-gallon bucket
  • a rope
  • A tin can
  • A drill
  • A piece of wood
  • 2 screws
  • Some deer corn (for the feeder)
