Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F or 175°C, then lightly grease the baking pan with butter, and line it with parchment paper. Add the chocolate chips and chopped chocolate bar to a large or medium-sized mixing bowl together with the unsalted butter, then place them on top of a pot with boiling water, and stir around until well combined and melted. Mix the espresso powder with water, then pour into the chocolate and butter mixture, and continue stirring them together. Set aside and let it cool down.

Step 2
In a mixing bowl, beat together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy, then add the salt and vanilla, and continue to beat for a few seconds until well combined and incorporated. Add the cooled down chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, then switch to using a spatula, and gently fold them together until well combined and uniform. Sift over the flour and cocoa powder, then add more chopped chocolate and fold together until well combined. Transfer to prepared pan, then bake in a preheated oven for about 25 minutes and let it cool down before slicing.
