Materials:

  • Pinecone
  • Pipe cleaner, red and orange
  • Acrylic paint, red, orange, and yellow
  • Paintbrush
  • Craft paper, yellow and red
  • Clear tape
  • Googly eyes
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Directions:

Step 1

Paint the tips of the pinecone with alternate paint colors as shown in the video tutorial, then set it aside, and let the paint dry. Roll over a red pipe cleaner for the head of the turkey, then hot glue the ends to itself to secure it in place, and set it aside.

Step 2

Cut a small piece of yellow paper in a triangle shape and cut a small piece of red paper as well for the beak and snood of the turkey. Tape the snood and beak together, then attach them to the head of the turkey along with the googly eyes.

Step 3

Get the orange pipe cleaner, then fold the ends to form the feet of the turkey, and then bend it in half evenly. Hot glue the pipe cleaner underneath the pinecone, then dab some glue to the top front of the pinecone and stick the head of the turkey to it.
