Ingredients:

  • 1-2 cups of sugar, or more to taste
  • ½ cup of melted real butter
  • 3 tbsp of all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of buttermilk
  • 9-inch pie crust, homemade or store-bought

Directions:

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 4oo degrees, then prepare your pie crust (homemade or store-bought), and set it aside. Step 2

Now, add the all-purpose flour, then continue whisking until incorporated and smooth, and then pour it into the prepared pie crust. Cover it with aluminum foil shaped like a tent as shown in the video, then put it inside the preheated oven at 400 degrees, and let it bake for about 30 minutes while covered. After half an hour, remove the aluminum foil cover, then continue to let it bake for 1 hour or more until firm. Serve and enjoy!
