Kitchen Decluttering Tips and Hacks:

How to Declutter Your Kitchen:

#1: Fridge Magnets and Flyers

Check out your kitchen and see if you’ve got a couple of fridge magnets or if you have more than enough. If you’re not using them or they don’t have any function at all and they are simply for decor, then you might want to consider removing them from your fridge and storing them away. This will help minimize the visual clutter. It is also best if you control the promotional papers and flyers that you collect and place them in a storage basket or drawer so you can easily find them in one place.

#2: Plastic Containers

You may have collected a few containers over time thinking you could restore them at some point in time, but they just ended up piling in your storage without getting used at all. Decide if you would really need those containers and if not, then don’t hesitate and throw them all away.

#3: Appliances

Some of us own a few appliances that we have only used once or just a few times, and these appliances just sit in your kitchen, eventually, they just add to the visual clutter. If certain appliances remain unused for up to a year, then store them away, give them to another family member, or sell them because somebody else might be able to use these appliances better.

#4: Sauce Packets

If you often order takeout and you keep collecting sauce packets and cutleries but have never used most of them, then they would just pile up and add to the clutter of your kitchen. The best way to prevent these sachets from piling up is to include specific delivery instructions to skip the sauce and cutlery as you won’t need them anyway.
