But, if you don’t know what DIY craft to start with, then I highly recommend this simple yet beautiful project by We Craft Around on YouTube. What’s great about this decor apart from the fact that it’s budget-friendly is that you can use the same design idea to make a version for different holidays or seasons!
Step 1
Paint the edges of the pizza pan white, make sure to paint the inner edges as well lightly, then let it dry completely, flip it over, and cover the back entirely with white chalk paint.
Step 2
While the paint dries, fill the holes of a wood round with spackling, then let it dry completely, and lightly sand it to smoothen the surface.
Step 3
Paint one side as well as around the edges with crimson paint, then let it dry completely, spray the back of your stencil with pixie spray, and place it on top of the crimson side of your wood round.
Step 4
Press down the stencil firmly, then using a stencil brush, start stamping over the lettering or shape, and then remove the stencil carefully.
Step 5
Use a detail brush to finish the letters or shapes nicely, then let the paint dry completely, flip the round wood piece over to its back, and apply gorilla glue and hot glue on the back.
Step 6
Adhere it to the pizza pan making sure it’s centered, then mark all around the edges with a craft stick for even spacing, and fill the lines alternately with black paint as shown in the video.
Step 7
Once the paint has dried, attach some hanging loops securely at the back, then make a messy bow bunch, and attach it to the top side of the wreath.
