This scented gnome is not only great for gift-giving but also decor. You can hang this on your fireplace, window, or wherever you want and it will surely add the perfect touch of Fall to your home. Not only that, it will also make your house smell so good! This is probably one of the best craft projects I have ever tried, and this is also convenient because you can change the color of the check fabric that you’re using to red or green so that it matches the color theme of Christmas.
Materials for DIY Scented Gnome:
- Buffalo check fabric
- Scented broom
- Burlap fabric
- Lace ribbon
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Jute string
- Beads
- Bead garland
How to Make DIY Scented Gnome:

Cut the Buffalo check to size, then wrap it around the scented broom, and make sure that the hanger at the top is peeking through. Cut a strip of burlap fabric, then wrap it around the bottom portion of the fabric, and secure it with hot glue. Glue a bead for the nose, then insert a string to the hanger, and wrap it around the bead garland. You can alternate these scented gnomes with a pumpkin decor piece and stencil the letters or words on it.
