Start by spraying window cleaner on the glass of your windows and wipe with a paper towel to remove dust, oil residue, and fingerprints. Keep in mind that you want to do it in a glass that will not be exposed to a lot of moisture or it’s going to lift off. If you are going to do it on a window that’s in the wall, it will not crystallize quite as well as having it lying flat.
In a measuring cup, add 1/2 cup of boiling water and 1/2 cup of Epsom salt. Mix well with a spoon. Stir until the water is clear.
Add 2 drops of dish soap and mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a spray bottle.
Spray the mixture to the glass. Make sure to do it evenly, starting from one end of the window. The more solution you put on it, the more crystals you are going to have to form. Set it aside for an hour.
To remove it, just use a scraper to carefully scrape it off.
