Easy Cool Whip Ambrosia Salad Recipe

One of the things that I always look forward to every holiday or party is the food, and my favorite among all of the dishes served on the table is a creamy and fruity salad! But, when I’m craving so much and I’ve no party to go to or host, I would just make them at home even if there’s no occasion at all. You can never go wrong with a delicious and classic dessert, and my favorite go-to recipe is this one by Food Lovin’ Family on YouTube.

Ingredients for Cool Whip Ambrosia Salad:
- 1 (8 ounces) tub of Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1 (8 ounces) can of pineapple tidbits, drained
- 1 cup of maraschino cherries, drained
- 1 (11 ounces) can of mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 cup of sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup of mini marshmallows
- ½ cup of chopped pecans or walnuts, optional
How to Make Cool Whip Ambrosia Salad:
In a large bowl, add the Cool Whip and sour cream, then add in the oranges, pineapples, cherries, coconut, and mini marshmallows as well, and fold everything together until evenly combined. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic, then place the salad in the refrigerator, and let it chill for at least an hour or until ready to serve. Enjoy!
