Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F, then grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray, and set it aside. In a large mixing bowl, add the strawberry jello and boiling water, then stir them until completely dissolved, and set it aside to cool to room temperature.

Step 2

In the prepared baking dish, add the crushed pretzels, chopped pecans, and ¼ cup + 1 tbsp of sugar, then pour in the melted butter, and toss everything together until combined. Press the mixture down the bottom firmly in an even layer, then place it in the preheated oven, and bake it for about 10 minutes.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, add the cream cheese and remaining sugar, then beat them until light and fluffy, add the whipped topping, and gently fold until smooth and combined. Reserve one-third of the strawberries, then finely dice the remaining, and mix both berries.

Step 4

Once the baked pretzel layer is at room temperature, add the cream cheese filling over the top, and spread it evenly. Scoop the fresh strawberries on top, then spread them in an even layer, and pour in the cooled strawberry jello mixture over them. Place the mixture in the refrigerator, then allow it to chill for at least 2 to 3 hours or until completely set, and serve. Enjoy!
