Directions:

Step 1

Cut the fabric according to the pattern requirements, then once done preparing the strips, assemble four fabric A strips and four fabric B strips together, and sew them together with a ¼ inch seam allowance. To sew the strips together, start with 2 strips, then lay them together with their right sides facing, and sew down one long side. Press the fabric open, then using the same process, sew the next strips, and trim the excess off so that the light strip set measures 30 x 40½ inches. Make sure to press them as the arrow indicates in the pattern guide.

Step 2

Next, using the same process above, assemble four fabric B strips and four fabric C strips, then sew them together, press every now and then, and trim the excess off to measure 30 x 40½ inches. Now, sub-cut the light strip set and dark strip set into 5 strips that measure 5½ x 40½ inches each, then line up and assemble the strips according to the pattern and as shown in the video, and start piecing them starting with 2 strips laid together with their right sides facing. Continue to sew and press the strips until you’ve completed the whole piece, then quilt, and bind as desired.
