Materials:
- wooden birdhouse
- paint (of your choice)
- white paint
- paintbrush
- foam dabber
- edge wood (from Dollar Tree)
- baby wipes
- 2- Jenga block
- hot glue gun
- Spanish moss
- nest with eggs decor
- floral wire
- bird decor
- decorative ribbons
Directions:
Step 1
To start, paint your wooden birdhouse with the color of your choice. Smudge the paint a bit to give it texture, then dab some white paint on the slats using a foam dabber. Next, paint the edge wood chocolate brown, then wipe some of it with some baby wipes to give it some texture. Now, place the birdhouse on top of the edge wood, then take a Jenga block and glue it on the back of the birdhouse for support as well as on the front. After this, glue some Spanish moss and glue it in the front to hide the Jenga block.
Step 2
Take some floral wire and use it to attach the bird nest to the birdhouse, hot gluing it to the Jenga block. Next, dab some white paint on the bird decor, then glue it to the birdhouse. Add some designs using decorative ribbons and flowers from Dollar Tree. Your DIY spring birdhouse is now finished!
