These Pillows go for $50 on the Pottery Barn Teen site, and that doesn’t include the pillow (it’s only the cover)! You can make one for a couple of dollars! How ’bout that for savings!
They show this pillow with white sheets that have gold stars on them. If you have white sheets, gold stars are really easy to stencil on them! That’s what I did and it looks fabulous!
I don’t know about you, but I’m all about girly things, even though I’m a grown woman, but there’s a lot of little girl still in me! I love all things feminine and bling is the icing on the cake! My bedroom is my personal haven and it all glammed up. You can definitely tell a female resides in there! You can definitely tell that Marilyn Monroe is one of my idols! I know I’m not the only female who loves this type of bedroom decor for themselves.
If you want to do this project really cheap, go to the thrift store and find a sequined dress to cut up! That’s what I did and it only cost me $2 since I went on Wednesday, when they have everything 1/2 off! It still would have been dirt cheap if I’d paid full price! Love the thrift stores!
Once you’ve made one of these for your room, you can make these to give as gifts! Who wouldn’t love to receive one of these exquisite pillows as a gift?
Watch how this gal, with Seventeen, makes this awesome bow pillow in her step by step tutorial and get started making yourself one!
A special thanks to Pottery Barn for the use of the photo of this Sequin Bow Pillow used in this post. Make sure to check out their website for more fun things!
