I have made so many DIY Christmas Tree Wreath Style Ornaments, I just can’t get enough of them. I always keep a drawer full of floral wire and ribbon on hand in the craft room in case I have children visiting or I find a new DIY ornament idea I haven’t done yet. This mini wreath ornament tutorial I found on Youtube was really great for me because I have made so many projects involving other types of ornaments, I was really ready for satin mini wreaths made from polystyrene disposable food plates to decorate my tree. The other best thing about this project is the fact that I love Christmas Wreaths, but I always make large ones for the doors, why haven’t I thought of these cute mini wreaths before?  So to get this Rustic Farmhouse Christmas Decor started I first got all my materials together, polystyrene plates, a Sharpie, an Exacto Knife, some colorful ribbon, and my trusty glue gun. I started by drawing then cutting two circles in my plate.

Then I cut 2″ x 2″ squares out of ribbon and folded twice over to make a triangle. I glued those securely with my trusty hot glue gun then glued the triangle folded ribbon pieces to the plate ring starting from the outside working my way in.

I kept repeating that process until the whole wreath was covered in ribbon. Then I made a beautiful bow following the specific instructions in the tutorial and added it to the top of my beautiful little wreath.

These little mini wreaths turned out way better than I had anticipated, I highly recommend this project.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
