I always love unique decor pieces, so when I saw this melted crayon pumpkin from Kroger on YouTube, I just fell in love. I mean, who wouldn’t? This is a unique and colorful take on the classic Fall pumpkin decor. This would be a great fall craft to do with your family or friends. It’s easy, fun to make, and inexpensive. I would surely make a bunch of these and put them on my front porch. This would surely make a good accent with my Fall decor this year.

Materials:

  • white pumpkin
  • craft paper
  • crayons
  • tacky glue
  • craft knife (or cutter)
  • hair dryer

Directions:

Step 1

Lay the craft paper in your working area to avoid mess, then start the project by peeling the crayons with your craft knife, then break them in half. Next, glue around each crayon piece on top of the pumpkin, with glue. Let them dry completely.

Step 2

Once done, set the hair dryer on high heat setting, then start heating each crayon until they’re completely melted and the colors are dripping down the pumpkin. Repeat these steps and create more colorful pumpkins.
