Farmhouse style is the rage! This stunning Mason jar chandelier is something that can give you more of a chic-rustic feel that you can design in any color or style! There are endless possibilities for this project in terms of using a new or old fixture.
Michelle Beighly found this chandelier fixture at a thrift store for $6.99 so she could make this astonishing chandelier. The photo that I’ve posted is a Mason jar chandelier that is little more ornate in style than the one that is in this tutorial, but the same concept. You have two options on what you can do with this fabulous DIY. You can use LED light bulbs (which are safer to use due to the glue heating up) or candles (if the electrical wires in the fixture you purchase are too old and unsafe).
If you choose to use candles, you will need to make the holes in our jars with a DRILL PRESS and use a 3/4″ diamond bit to make the holes. If you are inexperienced with cutting glass, the option in this tutorial is probably the best way to do this DIY and get similar results.
I can’t tell you how excited I am to share this project with you. I’m so in love with blue mason jars. I’ve been wanting to make a mason jar light fixture for a while now but couldn’t decide what to make. I took a look at the hideous chandelier in my dining room and knew I could transform it into something amazing. Then I ran across this great tutorial and I made this for my home! Oh, and I also added beads to the chandelier that I made…like the photo I used in this post! I wanted mine to be elegant/primitive looking, but if you like a simpler look, you have this option as well!
If you are looking to add some romantic or vintage-inspired lighting to your home or wedding, why not consider a mason jar chandelier?  Most of us share our love for all things DIY, rustic-modern, and re-imagined. My goal is to inspire you to create the decor you’ve always wanted!
Watch Michelle make this amazing DIY in her step by step tutorial and enjoy your fabulous Mason jar chandelier!
