DIY Knitting Supply Caddy

Supply caddies are so convenient if you want all of your knitting, sewing, or embroidery supplies in one pouch. It’s a fun DIY project to work on and it’s very cute. You can this pouch for things stuff that you might want to keep together and to organize small things. This DIY supply caddy by Erica Arndt on YouTube is made for beginners and non-beginner sewers. It’s not as complicated as it seems because she does a great job explaining everything in full detail. The description box in the video has all of the measurements for the fabric, which is very helpful.
Supplies:
- fusible fleece
- outside fabric
- lining fabric
- fabric for pockets
- binding fabric
- fabric strips to bind the pockets
- fabric scraps
- cotton batting or fleece for pin holder
- clear lightweight vinyl
- soft healing mat
- rotary trimmer
- clear acrylic ruler
- sewing machine
- erasable pens
- 100 percent cotton thread
- iron
Directions:
First, fuse the fusible fleece with the outside fabric by ironing them together and set it aside. Then, work on the inside of the bag by laying everything out where you would want it to make sure everything is laid out and organized. Sew the pieces onto the fabric to close the sides with binding pieces.

I don’t sew or knit often or much at all, but I would make this as a gift for someone who does.
