When I saw this globe in hand lamp video tutorial by Raj Easy Crafts, on YouTube, I fell in love with it. I knew I had to make this awesome lamp because it had such healing vibes. I love the idea of any kind of lighted sphere, so this project was perfect for my needs.

Materials For Globe In-Hands Lamp:

  • A pair of latex gloves
  • A ball
  • Plaster of Paris
  • Water (to mix the plaster of Paris)
  • An old soda bottle (to mix plaster of Paris in)
  • Toilet paper
  • A thin mixture of water and glue
  • A light with a socket
  • A lightbulb
  • A block of wood
  • White spray paint

In this globe in hand lamp video tutorial by Raj Easy Crafts, on YouTube, you will learn how to make this very special light to add positive energy to your home. You begin by filling both of your latex gloves with plaster of Paris and then laying over the ball to dry.

Then, you will cover your ball with toilet paper sheets brushed with glue to form a paper mache shell. Then, you will cut a round hole at the bottom of the ball and add your light. The two hands will be mounted to the board and you will paint the entire thing white with the spray paint. Then you will just set the ball into the hands and light it up!
