DIY Dollar Tree Duster Christmas Tree Tutorial

For the materials – you only need a few items, and you can all buy them in your local Dollar Tree as well along with the dusters. It’s a fun, easy, and inexpensive project you can do with your friends or family to kick off the holiday season. Ready to make one? Materials:

• duster from Dollar Tree
• a pair of scissors
• battery-operated fairy lights
• wooden cup
• floral foam
• circle wooden board

Directions:

Step 1

To start, shake the duster a few times to fluff it out, then start trimming about three-fourths downward using a scissor, shaping it into a tree. Once done, remove the handle, shake it again to fluff it out, and remove the excess duster threads. Next, wrap the tree with fairy lights, distributing it evenly. Repeat these steps to make more trees.

Step 2

Now, place a piece of floral foam inside a wooden cup, then stick the tree on it. Another option is, you can also drill the trees you made to a wooden board to make a more rustic look. Now, turn on the lights and place your trees wherever you like!
