DIY Dollar Tree Raffia Coffee Table/ Storage Basket

When I saw this awesome raffia coffee table/ storage basket video tutorial by In The Event With Karem, on YouTube, I knew I had to make this project. I have always been a devout Hobby Lobby fan and got all my materials from there using their fabulous coupon deals that are on the app, but these Dollar Tree projects are even more affordable than any of the craft stores. Dollar Tree used to seem like an unattractive place until I started doing all of these Dollar tree projects I found on YouTube. Dollar Tree is quickly becoming my favorite DIY Hub because they have a great selection of merchandise all their stuff is super cheap! This raffia basket project is great for indoor and outdoor toy storage, or as a basket to store towels and pool noodles. There really is no limit on what you can do with this raffia basket idea.
Materials For Raffia Coffee Table/ Storage Basket:
- 4 floppy straw sun hats (from Dollar Tree)
- 6 to 8 packs of raffia
- A Hot glue gun
- Glue sticks
- 2 laundry baskets
- Masking tape
- Wood doweling
- A pair of scissors
