These DIY Dollar Tree glass bead flowers by Erin Reed Makes are perfect for your backyard or lawn. They are colorful beads that are glued together to form a flower. A bamboo skewer is glued to the back so you can put them beside your plants. When the sunlight hits the beads, they act as suncatchers and reflect colorful lights.

This DIY project is absolutely fun to make. You can even ask your friends and family to color and decorate one flower. They can color the whole bead or create random patterns just like in the photo above. Allow them to be as creative as they want to be! Easy DIY Glass Bead Flowers Materials

  • etchall dip n etch
  • Sharpie markers
  • nonstick craft mat
  • Dollar Tree glass gens
  • black craft mat
  • supertite glue
  • supertite multi-grab 360
  • color die
  • bamboo skewers
  • container

 

How to Make Glass Bead Flowers

Step 1:

Place some of the glass beads in the container and fill with etchall dip n etch. Leave them for 15 minutes. After that, wash them with water.

Step 2:

Place the beads on your craft mat. Take 7 pieces for each flower. Arrange them into a flower with one in the middle. You can also the ones that were not soaked in the solution.

Step 3:

Color the beads with your preferred color using Sharpie markers. You can also create different patterns if you want to. Let them dry completely.

Step 4:

Flip each of the beads. Make sure they are still in a flower shape. Using the multi-grab glue, glue the beads together. Take the bamboo skewer then place it where it does across three of the little beads. Place even more glue on the back side. It will take about 24 hours to dry. Place an extra bead on the bottom part of the bamboo skewer for support.
