DIY Dollar Tree Curio Cabinet
I needed a curio cabinet for my nick nacks and I was just about to buy one when I saw this excellent tutorial for a DIY Curio Cabinet out of all Dollar Tree materials on Youtube. I knew that I had to try my hand at making the curio cabinet asap! I started by gathering my materials together and that was so much fun in itself because I love shopping at Dollar Tree!
Materials:
- 6 – Tall White Decor Frame
- 1 – 8×10 stretched wooden canvas
- 1 – Silver 5×7 Frame
- 2 – Rectangle Clear Trays
- 6 – 8×10 mirrors in the black frames
- 1 – Push Light Foam Board Bling Wrap (Dollar Tree carries Jot gems. They are just hard to find!)
- OPTIONAL Adhesive gems & flat back gems for decorating frame (Hobby Lobby)
Optional For The Legs:
(Round Napkin Holders & Wooden Blocks The blocks are not from Dollar Tree, you can stack up several napkin rings and use the blocks from Dollar Tree).(The ones from Dollar Tree are smaller so you would need to double it. For the full-size blocks, I got these at Five Below (off-brand) thanks to a subscriber who suggested that store. Walmart also carries the name brand ones. Directions:
Start by scraping the glass on your frame to remove any writing, then fix your braces and glue your frames together (they will act as your curio cabinet windows.
Then you add the glass mirrors and stick on jewels to the back of your gorgeous little curio cabinet.
Then you just continue to follow the instructions in the video, you will not be disappointed this curio cabinet is beautiful!
