Recently, my husband decided to build a recording studio. He has been in bands for years, so this idea didn’t really fly out of nowhere. He is new to the music business and we just managed to get the back room cleared tp make a small office that he could work out of. I wanted the decor for his new office to be very modern and sleek looking and this awesome desk that was just the ticket.

Materials:

  • A drill
  • Impact drill bit set
  • Firm grip cut resistant gloves
  • Construction grade lumber
  • Stain (Minwax is good)
  • A set of four hairpin legs

This desk is so large and spacious, my husband just loves it. Actually, the finished product is very reminiscent of the early days of the Fifties rock and roll era, so it is perfect for his new business.
