Yesterday while I was browsing Instagram and I came across the most interesting wonderful artist I had ever seen. This artist from Canada named Raku Inoue makes these amazing likenesses animals and insects. Raku has done the most amazing job of finding the perfect flowers and leaves to make this vision pop with breathtaking splendor, and the sheer visual wonder of these insects and animals is really a sight to behold. There are so many amazing ideas for art projects here, it is a truly unique experience just to look at them all. Check out examples of the amazing flower art in the posts from the Reikan Creations by Raku Inoue Instagram page here.

One of my very favorites is the butterfly Raku made from rose petals. These beautiful hybrid roses Raku used are called Circus Roses and they make a striking feature of the butterfly’s wings.

There is also a cute elephant made from leaves and flowers. I really love this one because elephants are a sign of good luck and they are such intelligent amazing animals.

This undersea man-o-war jellyfish is really so cool looking. I have seen these washed up on the beach in Galveston and these look quite scary in person, but this one is a beauty.

Natura Memorial 2020: “Jellyfish” (1/3) – It’s been a little more than a year since my step-father passed away in early December 2018. Its crazy to see how much time flies by when Im being propelled by the currents of life. Many things happened since his passing that I wish he was here to witness but that’s unrealistic. I sometime find myself reminiscing, looking back when he was well and alive. He lived simply while appreciating the small things of life..I now realize that he taught me immensely without saying a word. His presence, then and now is much heartfelt and he is still being missed. May he rest in peace. – As part of a memorial, I produced a set of three images after Reynald’s passing in 2018. An owl symbolizing his wisdom, a rhinoceros beetle for his strength and finally a white tiger capturing his kindness. I was particularly fond of the white tiger and how it shared his blue eyes. Few months later in 2019, The white tiger was featured on the cover of American Crafts April’s issue and I’m sure Reynald is looking down on this smiling. Today, a year after, I wish to celebrate this with two new creations as company. Enjoy:) – #nature #art #creative #design #jellyfish #craft #MTL #montreal #Japan #Tokyo #floral #photography #inspiration

The whale that Naku made is so cute, I could barely contain my excitement when I saw it.

I am a Scorpio and I love roses. I really wish I had this one in my home.

Natura Fatale: “Rose Scorpion” (1/3) – So We were binging Next in Fashion (#TeamMinju) on Netflix last week which lead me to create these sets. I also had some roses left from the previous flower donation from @floretfleurs so I used those. I just love how deep the red colours are on these rose petals. Depending on the lighting, you can even feel some blue and purple shades on them. I can’t pretend to know much about fashion designing but I find it very fascinating and compelling. It must be greatly fulfilling to designing and producing an artwork that is actually wearable. I would love to try one day….if I just had more hours in a day… – – #nature #flower #floral #art #design #craft #inspiration #dress #rose #MTL #Montreal #Japan #Tokyo #fashion

Then the cutest one of all was this bright and cheerful kangaroo. It really makes me think of all the poor kangaroos in Australia that I pray for daily.
