I have always wanted an apothecary dresser because they are so old world and interesting. but the antique ones are so expensive I would have never been able to afford one and the new reproductions were about $6000, so forget about it! Then I saw an IKEA hack on Youtube and saw that I could actually make a large majestic looking Apothecary Dresser for a lot less money. Now, this particular project calls for two IKEA dressers that are about $600, which was $300 each, but I realized you could actually use any dresser you might find on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace to make one of these as well. Also, the project the Youtuber made was really large, this apothecary cabinet would work in any size, even miniature. So this is how it’s done and it’s not difficult at all.
