Materials:

  • white air-dry clay
  • assorted stamps
  • ink pad
  • a set of small glass bowls
  • acrylic rolling pin (for the clay)
  • silicone mat
  • craft knife
  • sandpaper

Directions:

Step 1

To start, take some of your air-dry clay and knead it until soft and pliable, then roll out the clay to three to four millimeters thick. After this, gently tap the ink pad onto the stamp and press it to the rolled-out clay. Keep stamping until you’re satisfied with your design. (Be careful not to smudge it when you press the next stamp.)

Step 2

Next, place the bowl on top of the stamped clay and carefully cut around it using your craft knife. After this, remove the bowl, and peel the clay away from your work surface. Now, gently press the clay circle into the bowl, turning and pressing it along the process, to make sure it’s properly placed and even. Leave the bowl to dry for around twenty-four hours. After this, gently wiggle around until the clay pops out, then turn the bowl upside down and put the clay on top. Let it finish drying for another twenty-four hours. When your clay is finished drying, sand off the edges and any rough edges.
