The stain on the carpet can be very difficult to clean, so when I found this awesome video by Faithlyn Gruetzmchr, on YouTube, describing how to clean the stain from the carpet with hydrogen peroxide and steam iron, I had to try this wonderful cleaning method. This method is really easy, you will start by spraying the carpet stains with your hydrogen peroxide, then scrub each stair step with your brush with a sturdy handle. The method of removing something awful, like a stubborn smelly pet stain, becomes super easy using this simple two-step idea. Normal peroxide from the grocery store will work fine, for really bad stains food grade peroxide is much stronger.

Materials For Cleaning A Carpet With A Steam Iron:

  • A bottle of hydrogen peroxide (normal peroxide from the grocery store will work fine)
  • A steam iron
  • An old rag (make sure you use one that you won’t be using for anything else)

Directions:

In this awesome video by Faithlyn Gruetzmchr, on YouTube, you will learn how to use this awesome method to clean stubborn stains off of your carpet in a couple of very simple steps. You will begin by squirting or spraying the hydrogen peroxide directly on the stain, making sure you saturate it fairly well. Then you will lay your old towel over your stain and lay the hot iron on top of the towel and let it sit for a minute or so, not too long because you don’t want to burn the carpet.
