Now that Fall is here and Halloween is right around the corner, it seemed only fitting to come up with a DIY project that is is both fun for fall and happy for Halloween.

Although candy corn isn’t my favorite Halloween candy, it sure looks cute on a wreath and it’s the perfect touch for the season! I believe that when making a wreath it should not only be pretty or cute, but simple and inexpensive too. I think that this wreath does just that.

Not all of the candy corn will meet up evenly, so the ribbon will go over that part. But, of course, most of us would add a nice big bow to this wreath anyway, right?

I recommend, if you are putting this outside, use MANY coats of the spray and make sure to cover it at all angles, OR, I would recommend using Mod Podge to paint over it when finished. Otherwise, with it being out in the elements, the candy can deteriorate from moisture.

I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
