DIY Santa Hat Quilt

This quilting project is great if you have a lot of scrappy fabrics that you need to use too. It’s a great way to make use of it instead of throwing it out or go to waste. I love how organized she is with all of her fabric scraps, and it makes me want to help my mom organize all of her fabric. Since I do not sew, I love watching projects come together because it’s impressive. This is such a creative quilt that doesn’t require design work except stitching fabric scraps together.

Supplies:

• background fabric
• hat fabric
• brim and pom pom fabric

Directions:

Next, once all of the individual pieces are finished, stitch everything, and sew each Santa hat blocks together.

Overall, I love how you can make this quilt any size and I love how she made a huge one. This would be a time-consuming project if you’re doing a big quilt, but it would be easier once you get all of your fabric scraps organized into the right measurements and size. The embroidery with the name on the quilt is very sweet, and it makes the quilt a nice personalized gift for the holidays.
