I never realized so many people had this problem of their car windshield being covered in an oily film, that is so hard to clean for so many reasons. The worst part about the streaky inside windshield is the fact that it can really impair your vision, especially at night. I was so thankful when I found this excellent interior windshield cleaning video tutorial by Chris Fix, on YouTube because I finally really understood how to get this problem dealt with effectively. I also learned that all that oily film comes from the off-gassing of the plastics that the car’s interior dashboard and such are made of, wow! Also using some oily cleaners can cause an oily film to form on your interior windshield.

Materials Needed To Clean The Inside Of Your Windshield:

  • A clean and dry microfiber towels (you need about 3)
  • Rubbing alcohol (or a Mr. Clean eraser cloth)
  • Zep Automotive Glass Cleaner (or your favorite glass cleaner)

You begin by thoroughly cleaning the outside of your windshield then wipe down the inside windshield with a dry microfiber cloth. Then you will activate the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, and clean the entire area. Then you must quickly dry all of that off with the microfiber towel.
