How To Make Slippers From Flip Flops

These DIY indoor slippers from flip flop by My things my way on YouTube is a great way to repurpose or recycle any flip flops around the house. Also, this is an inexpensive DIY project to make house slippers too. It’s interesting to watch this tutorial from start to finish because I was amazed at how these slippers turned out from using flip flops. Also, this takes only a few materials and supplies to make. These fluffy slippers are cute, and I love how creative this DIY is by adding logos and labels to make them legitimate as if they were bought.
Supplies:
- flip-flops
- sandals or slides (to use as a mold)
- marker
- white copy paper
- wool material
- EvoStik glue or any adhesive strength glue
- hot glue gun
- scissors
- needle and thread
- logos, labels, optional
Directions:
First, take off and cut the thong pieces off of the flip flop. Then, take your sandal and match it up with the flip flop, and mark the sandals where the band is at. Next, use the sandal slides as a mold, and take white copy paper to measure the band part. Then, trace it onto the wool material and sew it together.
