I have spent so many years shopping at Michael’s craft store, a place that I love that always has so many craft goodies at very reasonable prices. Lately, I have been seeing so many Dollar Tree DIY’s all over the internet, I knew I had to branch out and check out the world of Dollar Tree. Recently, I found this awesome Dollar Tree colander ornament video tutorial by This Southern Girl Can, on Youtube, and I knew this was a perfect way to get acquainted with the DIY offerings at Dollar Tree. This project is perfect for a large statement decoration that will look great placed anywhere in your Christmas decor.
Materials For The Dollar Tree Colander Ornament:
- 2 plastic colander (from Dollar Tree)
- 1 to 3 strings of battery-operated fairy lights
- Stretchy bead string
- Decorative ribbon of your choice
- Pipe cleaners

You start by placing your light strings into a colander and running your hot glue all along the edges of the colander.
Then, you will place the other colander on top and decorate the top with a large bow and any other holiday decor you have.
This is a gorgeous project and it one of the easiest Christmas DIY’s I have ever found!
