Slippers have to be one of my favorite things in the whole world to make and when I found this awesome patchwork slipper tutorial on YouTube by Liza Decor I fell in love with these slippers and I have to make them. They look really easy, I think they will take about one evening to make and because they have a free downloadable pattern, that really takes out the guesswork. The actual construction of the slipper is very straightforward and I have enough scraps to actually pull this project off without a trip to the fabric store because in the case of my trips to the fabric store that adds another full day to my project and another $100 of so much stuff I shouldn’t buy and do not need. I had a really nice pre-quilted fabric I had bought at JoAnn’s Fabrics to make potholders with, also had tons of fusible fleece, and I had bought a bias tape maker on my last trip so the decorative trim around the slippers was going to be a breeze.
In this awesome video tutorial, you will learn to cut out and sew the cute patchwork pattern, then attach it to the fusible fleece, and lining. The actual quilting is a cool circular pattern.
Then the assembly is super easy as well if you can make a potholder you can make these slippers no problem.
These are the most cheerful slippers, I love everything about them.
