Do you love finding simple DIY ideas that don’t take tons of time or cost lots of money? Crafting is my favorite pasttime, but lately, I have come to realize that I often spend way too much money on supplies and there just might be some inexpensive options I could start making instead. I went looking for dollar store crafts and not all were things I actually wanted to make. Then, I came across this amazing wreath made from clothespins and knew I had found my next weekend project idea.
All this craft takes to make is a wire wreath form, a bag of clothespins, some paint and a few stars. Simple to construct, even beginners in the world of DIY can pull this one off with ease. Whether you are decorating for the Fourth of July or Memorial Day, perhaps just showing your appreciation for the US, this red white and blue wreath is sure to look great on the front door.
When it comes to both country crafts and dollar store DIY ideas, not sure you can find a project much nicer than this one. Super cute, really easy to make, and quick, too.
To make the wreath, you first paint the wire part white and allow to dry. Then, divide the clothespins into three groups, with 24 in each set. Spray one group white, the next blue and another one red. Allow to dry.
Then, clip dry clothespins around wreath as shown in the video, adding a bit of blue, then red and white stripes. Add stars, a bow and voila! Your wreath is ready to go. Enjoy!
