Instead of getting rid of old clothes I try to find some cool ways to recycle them and this is a great DIY project for doing that with t-shirts! It’s a great way to create something new and different.

I went on the hunt for different tutorials for making these after seeing a friend of mine wearing one of these that she had bought at a thrift store. It looked so great I simply had to have one. I knew there were a lot of tutorials for making these so I set about doing just that!

I love scarves, so I think that creating a scarf from my old t-shirts can be a great way to change up my wardrobe.

This is a quick-and-easy, no-sew technique to accessorize on the cheap. Just grab all those old t-shirts and get busy making some phenomenal scarves!

I made a few of these in different colors for myself and then I made some up to give away as gifts. I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t love to receive one of these.
