Everyone has their own way of managing to remember (or forget) everything needed to pack for vacation. My madness just became more maddening! I’m sure there are many of you out there who experiences this problem like I do.
I was so frustrated and just threw up my hands for a while. In the meantime, I happened to be on Pinterest just to get my mind off of packing and ran across these great tips.
Confession: When it comes to packing for a vacation, I am the world’s worst! Seriously. I own a lot of clothes and accessories, and I do not know how to consolidate anything. When I think about what I’ll need for a vacation, even if it’s only for three days, hundreds of outfits go through my mind. I’m afraid to leave anything behind. It’s like, I know I’m going to a tropical island, but maybe I’ll need a sweatshirt, sweatpants and jeans, just in case. I never know what I’m going to be in the mood for, and I want to prepared for anything.
As a result, I am always the person on vacation with the most luggage. It never fails, and I always get made fun of for it, and I really don’t care, but I finally realized that I could possibly simplify my packing a little bit…actually a lot!
I am now a changed woman (or packer). After watching how other people pack smart, I decided that it would probably be less headaches for me if I implemented some of these clever tips and cut my wardrobe in half!
Alexis May shows us how she packs smartly, in her step by step tutorial, so make sure to check it out. I especially love the idea of using the vacuum sealed bags…this way I can take a smidgen more!
