This DIY Pallet Bench Has Hidden Storage

Everybody needs a fabulous bench like this for their patio or yard!  I love finding pallets and turning these old ugly things into something spectacular!  I added some bright colored cushions to mine and it is such a rich look.  This is such an easy project and having made my own, it gives me a great sense of accomplishment.  The next thing I’m going to make is a pallet table to go with it.

My girlfriends are begging their husbands to make them one! When I saw how Crocker Twin Creations built this I had to have one! I  jumped in and tackled this DIY project myself (well, with a little bit of help from my husband)… it’s easier than you think.

This awesome pallet bench would look great in a den with some rustic accoutrements or in your yard for seating when you have guests over. I love that it has a hidden storage compartment to store things in! I get so excited about recycling pallet wood.  I could talk all day about all the different projects you can do with pallet wood and what makes it even cooler is that it’s FREE!

The other day I passed a building with a huge stack of pallets out by their dumpster and if I’d had my husband’s truck, I would have taken all of them! It’s amazing how you see people throwing these away all over the place.
