Did you know you can turn cupcake liners into these gorgeous paper flowers? Yes, you can! It’s actually super easy and fun! Cupcake liners come in various colors and patterns. The ones I got had beautiful bright colors, making them perfect for these DIY flowers. The best thing about using cupcake liners compared to other types of papers is that they are already cut into circles, often two-toned and textured, and easy to fold. Plus, they’re affordable and accessible; you can find them in most of your local stores.

Materials You’ll Need for the Paper Flowers
- 3 oz cupcake liners
- scissors
- stapler

How to Make Paper Flowers Using Cupcake Liners
Step 1: Preparing the cupcake liners
Take 12 pieces of cupcake liners and stack them.
Step 2: Stapling them together
Stretch the cupcake liners, then staple in the center just like in the photo below.

Step 3: Cutting the petals
Flatten the cupcake liners, then cut the sides into 8 equal sections. First, cut into four equal parts, then cut in between the quarters to get 8 sections of the same size.

Next, cut the sections into petals. To make the cutting process easier, start by cutting one side of each petal into a curved shape. Once done, flip and cut the other side. Watch the video below for the tutorial.

Step 4: Making the flower
Take one layer of cupcake liner and scrunch the sides toward the center. Repeat on all layers.
