I LOVE decorating for Fall! Pumpkins and leaves, with bright orange and deep reds. It just feels so warm and fuzzy and I can almost smell the fallen leaves wafting through the air. And I also love DIY projects (mostly because it’s usually cheaper than buying something already made, and I’m all about saving a buck!).
I love this fall centerpiece and it just goes to show you that you can save a lot of money. The best way I know of saving is to buy your decorations at the dollar store, so make sure to check there first! She did buy the flowers she uses at Michael’s, so take a coupon and also watch for when they have a sale in their floral department, so you can save even more money!
Even though there’s still plenty of time to get ready for Thanksgiving, I feel it’s time to start collecting some easy decorating ideas to make this special day shine!
I believe that thanksgiving decor should feel as natural as possible. It also should embrace the beautiful and warm colors of Fall. Decorating for fall is a lot of fun and you can do it with your kids or someone special to you. DIY decorations are always more meaningful and you’ll be able to collect tiny “memories” with each decor.
The most important thing to remember is that Thanksgiving is much more than a table full of delicious food and sparkling decor… Thanksgiving is the time we should stop asking and take a minute to actually feel grateful for everything and, especially, everyone we have. The more we learn to appreciate, the more beautiful our lives become…
This centerpiece is so easy to make. Watch how Clutterbug makes it in this step by step tutorial and hit the dollar store before everything’s grabbed up!
