This wall-hanging Fall wreath quilt is not only perfect for Thanksgiving but can also be a great quilt for Christmas. Materials for Fall Wreath Quilt:

  • Print fabrics, as required in the pattern
  • Marking pen, pencil, or chalk
  • Ruler
  • Scissors or rotary cutter and a cutting mat
  • Fabric pins
  • Needle and thread
  • Iron, for pressing
  • Sewing Machine

How to Make Fall Wreath Quilt:

Step 1

Open the fabrics and iron out any wrinkles, then cut them to size as instructed in the pattern, and label the fabrics so you don’t get confused as you quilt. To make the center of the quilt, line the back of the fabric A squares diagonally from corner to corner, then place it on the corners of the center fabric square, and make sure their right sides are facing.

Step 2

Stitch along the marked line, then press it open and trim off the excess layers. Stitch together the green strips on the longer side, then press the seams nicely, and sub-cut into smaller strip units. Take 2 strip units, then rotate one of them, and stitch them together to make a 4-patch block. Add a triangle on the side and bottom, then stitch them in place, press nicely, and trim off the excess.

Step 3

Do the same for the rest of the pieces, then place those units on all sides of the center block unit, and stitch them together pressing the seams as you go. Now that the center is done, proceed to piece the rest of the units surrounding the block to complete the wreath, watch the video tutorial for the full details.
